Judy's Breakfast Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 1/2 cups seasoned croutons or 2 1/2 cups croutons
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 lbs breakfast sausage, cooked drained and crumbled
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 6 ounces evaporated milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 300 degrees f.
  • 2 on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish layer as follows:.
  • 3 croutons.
  • 4 1 cup of cheese.
  • 5 all of the sausage.
  • 6 1 cup of cheese.
  • 7 beat the eggs and 2 ¼ cups of milk and pour on top.
  • 8 final step is to mix can of soup and half of can of milk and pour on top.
  • 9 bake for 1 ½ hours at 300 degrees f.

  • 11 can be put together the night before, covered and refrigerated, then baked the next morning.
  • 12 is especially good for company or family holidays.
