Pioneer Woman's Cowboy Calzones

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 diced onion
  • 8 ounces rotel
  • 8 ounces whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated monterey jack cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 for pizza dough:.
  • 2 pour 1 1/2 cups warm water in a bowl and sprinkle in yeast.
