Ham And Swiss Noodle Bake (hsnb)

Ingredients

- 1/2 of a 1 lb. package wide egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups cubed cooked ham
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 1 (3 ounce) can french-fried onions
Recipe
- 1 prepare noodles according to package directions: drain. in medium skillet, melt butter. add onion; cook until tender. blend in soup and sour cream. add noodles, soup mixture, ham, cheese and onion mixture; mix well. pour into lightly buttered 9-inch square baking dish. cover. bake in a 350 degree oven until hot, about 35 minutes. uncover. top with fried onions. bake 5 minutes longer. refrigerate leftovers.
