Potato Soup With Cheese

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups grated raw potatoes
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 cup milk or 1 cup cream
  • 8 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups broth
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • chopped parsley

Recipe

  • 1 mix potatoes, cheese, flour, salt and pepper, and enough cream or milk to make a rather thick mush.
  • 2 add boiling water and bouillon and butter; simmer slowly for about 10 minutes.
  • 3 sprinkle chopped parsley over when serving.
