Party Cookies With M&ms

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 large egg, room temperature
• 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/8 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup m&m's plain chocolate candy

Recipe

• 1 cream shortening and sugars.
• 2 add egg and vanilla.
• 3 combine baking soda, and salt with flour (don't sift).
• 4 add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
• 5 stir in 3/4 cup of m&ms
• 6 drop by 1 inch balls onto ungreased baking sheet.
• 7 bake 375 f for 10-12 minutes.
