Easy Layered Chicken Tortilla

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 3 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup shredded tex-mex cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cups sour cream, low fat works fine
- 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies, drained
- 1 teaspoon tex-mex seasoning
- 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa, you choose the heat
- 3 large tortillas, i like using salsa flavoured wraps
- 1/2-1 cup shredded tex-mex cheese
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
- 2 in large bowl stir together chicken, cheese, onion, sour cream, green chilies and seasoning.
- 3 spray a 10-inch quiche or pie plate with no stick spray.
- 4 pour 1 c salsa in dish.
- 5 place tortilla inside dish making sure bottom of wrap is uniformly coated with salsa.
- 6 spread half of chicken mix on top of tortilla.
- 7 top with another tortilla.
- 8 add remaining chicken mix.
- 9 top with another tortilla.
- 10 spread top with another 1/2 c salsa or more if needed to cover.
- 11 sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c cheese.
- 12 bake for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly.
- 13 let stand 5 minutes.
- 14 cut into wedges and serve with additional salsa.
