Simple Tex-mex Rice

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan.
  • 2 heat over medium-high heat until water begins to boil.
  • 3 cover saucepan with tight fitting lid, and reduce heat to low.
  • 4 cook over low heat for 15 minutes without removing lid or stirring.
  • 5 after 15 minutes, remove lid and fluff rice with a fork.
  • 6 ~note~the amount of taco seasoning can be adjusted to your taste. i use penzey's "bold taco seasoning".
