Penuche

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/8 lb butter
  • 2 tablespoons karo
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Recipe

  • 1 mix sugar, milk, karo, butter, & salt.
  • 2 cook until it forms a soft ball.
  • 3 let it stand (in sink in cold water) until cool. the bottom will start to thicken first.
  • 4 add vanilla & nuts.
  • 5 beat.
