- 24 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Recipe
- 1 in a large saucepan over medium heat, combine tomatoes, celery, onion, bell pepper, basil and sugar.
- 2 cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
