Glazed Peaches

Total Time: 2 hrs 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup dried peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup (karo)
  • 1/2 teaspoon mace
  • 1/2 lemon, juice and rind of, grated

Recipe

  • 1 wash peaches; cover with boiling water and let stand overnight.
  • 2 drain, reserving 1/2 cup water.
  • 3 bring sugar, corn syrup and water to a boil; add mace, lemon juice and rind.
  • 4 pour over peaches in a baking dish.
  • 5 cover and bake at 300f for 2 1/2 hours.
