Great Grandma Carr's Banana Nut Cake

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
• 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2/3 cup buttermilk
• 1/4 cup mashed banana
• 1/2 cup oil
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2/3 cup chopped pecans or 2/3 cup walnuts

Recipe

• 1 sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and soda.
• 2 add buttermilk, bananas, oil, eggs, and vanilla, then beat for two minutes.
• 3 fold in chopped nuts.
• 4 bake in greased and floured pans at 350 degrees until it test done. approximately 50 - 60 minuters.
