Rice And Sour Cream--so Good

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 3/4 lb monterey jack cheese
  • 3 cups sour cream
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 cut jack cheese in thin strips or grated.
  • 2 mix sour cream and chilies.
  • 3 butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole well.
  • 4 season rice with salt and pepper.
  • 5 layer rice, sour cream and cheese strips in order until you finish with rice on the top.
  • 6 bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.
  • 7 during the last few minutes add grated cheddar, bake till bubbly and melted.
