Danish Dumplings

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon parsley

Recipe

  • 1 in a saucepan, combine water and butter, cook till butter is melted.
  • 2 add the flour, baking powder, and salt all at once, stirring vigorously. cook stirring constantly, till mixture forms a ball that does not seperate.
  • 3 remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • 4 add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. stir in parsley.
  • 5 drop dumplings by tablespoonfuls into hot soup. cover and simmer 20 minutes.
