Dad's Meatloaf

Ingredients
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/8 cup onion powder
- salt and pepper
- ketchup
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 combine all of the ingredients except for the ketchup. it is easiest to just mix it up with your hands.
- 3 form into two loaves.
- 4 spread ketchup over the top of each loaf, and wrap each in foil sealing the foil tightly without squishing the meatloaf. note: sealing the foil slows the cooking time, which is why it takes so long to cook, but it also keeps the meat from drying out.
- 5 line a baking pan with foil, and place the foil wrapped loaves in it.
- 6 bake for 1 hour 45 minutes.
- 7 poke holes in the foil that is wrapped around the meatloaf and let any grease drain out into the pan while baking another 15 minutes.
