Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/2 cup uncooked instant rice
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons chopped green bell peppers
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup corn chips
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 in a skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is browned; drain.
- 2 add next 8 ingredients; mix well.
- 3 bring to a boil.
- 4 reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
