Pepperseed Thin Bread

Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
- 1/2 teaspoon anise seed
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup oil
Recipe
- 1 bruise fennel and anise in mortar and pestle or with rolling pin.
- 2 mix with flour, sugar, baking powder, and pepper in large bowl.
- 3 make well in center, add water and oil.
- 4 gradually draw flour in until all in incorporated.
- 5 knead dough on lightly floured surface until it forms a smooth ball.
- 6 cover with plastic and let rest for 15 minutes.
- 7 preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- 8 divide dough into 10 pieces.
- 9 roll each piece into an 8-inch ground.
- 10 place on a greased baking sheet.
- 11 bake until light brown- about 8 minutes, and cool.
