Coconut Macaroon Pie
Ingredients
- Servings: 1
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
Recipe
- preheat oven to 325 degrees f (165 degrees c).
- place pecans in bottom of pie shell.
- combine melted butter, coconut, salt, water, flour, sugar, and slightly beaten eggs. pour filling over pecans in crust.
- bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. cool before serving.
