Nebraska Hay Stacks

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup evaporated milk
• 1/2 cup butter
• 20 large marshmallows
• 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts
• 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
• 1 cup coconut
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 bring the sugar, milk and butter to a boil for 4 miuntes (do not underboil); add the marshmallows and stir until melted; add pecans, graham cracker crumbs, coconut and vanilla. stir until mixed and drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper.
• 2 note: if the mixture doesn't want to hold in a peak, let it cool for a few minutes before dropping on wax paper.
