Perfect Rice

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 cup rice
  • 100 g vermicelli
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 place saucepan on heat and melt 1 tablespoon of western star butter.
  • 2 add scrunched-up handful of vermicelli and stir through.
  • 3 add 1 cup of rice and stir through.
  • 4 add 2 cups of water and bring to boil.
  • 5 cover with lid and reduce heat to low.
  • 6 cook on low for 20 minutes (approximately depending on your range).
  • 7 add your choice of herbs/spices and stir through before serving.
