Chili

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 bulb of garlic, minced
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 (30 ounce) can pinto beans
  • 1 (30 ounce) can kidney beans
  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced green chilies
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chili seasoning

Recipe

  • 1 on high heat, sautee half the minced garlic in oil until golden brown.
  • 2 add half the diced onions; sautee until traslucent.
  • 3 add ground beef and break it up while it is cooking.
  • 4 cook until beef is thoroughly cooked.
  • 5 add chili seasoning to taste.
  • 6 add all canned ingredients, including the liquids in them.
  • 7 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 8 when boiling, reduce heat to medium and add remaining garlic and onion.
  • 9 boil for 15-20 minutes until sauce thickens a little.
