Ingredients

- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (28 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 12 ounces roast beef, shredded
- 5 ounces ham, chunked
- 3/4 cup red wine
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 16 ounces rigatoni pasta
Recipe
- 1 place the onion and garlic in a saucepan.cover and cook over medium-low heat for ten minutes or until soft and translucent.
- 2 stir in the tomatoes,tomato paste and sugar.bring to boil over medium heat.reduce to low and add water if necessary.cover and simmer stirring occasionally for 1 hour.
- 3 stir in the beef,ham,wine and pepper.cover and cook for 30 minutes.cook the rigatoni according to the package direction until tender,drain.
- 4 serve topped with sauce.
