Macronade.....macronade And Rigatoni

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 12 ounces roast beef, shredded
  • 5 ounces ham, chunked
  • 3/4 cup red wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 16 ounces rigatoni pasta

Recipe

  • 1 place the onion and garlic in a saucepan.cover and cook over medium-low heat for ten minutes or until soft and translucent.
  • 2 stir in the tomatoes,tomato paste and sugar.bring to boil over medium heat.reduce to low and add water if necessary.cover and simmer stirring occasionally for 1 hour.
  • 3 stir in the beef,ham,wine and pepper.cover and cook for 30 minutes.cook the rigatoni according to the package direction until tender,drain.
  • 4 serve topped with sauce.
