Ingredients

- 1 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup (karo)
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon anise flavoring
Recipe
- 1 mix and store in refrigerator overnight.
- 2 make into 3/8 inch rope and cut into small slices about the width of a pencil.
- 3 bake at 375 degrees for about 7 minutes.
