Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves
- 28 ounces petite diced tomatoes
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 lb cooked spaghetti
Recipe
- 1 brown ground beef, drain.
- 2 saute onoion till soft. add garlic cook 30 seconds.
- 3 add all ingredients to large dutch oven. bring to boil, then reduce to simmer on low heat. cook partially covered 1 1/2 hours.
- 4 uncover and simmmer 1 hour or till thickened, stirring occationally.
- 5 remove bay leaf.
- 6 serve over 1 pound cooked spaghetti.
