Peanut Blossoms

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 (14 ounce) bag chocolate stars or 1 (14 ounce) bag hershey chocolate kisses

Recipe

• 1 with mixer, beat butter, peanut butter and sugars until smooth; then beat in egg and vanilla.
• 2 combine flour and baking soda in separate bowl. stir into sugar mixture until blended.
• 3 shape dough into 1-inch balls, and then roll in granulated sugar.
• 4 bake at 350°f until slightly darker brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
• 5 remove from oven and press chocolate star into cookie.
• 6 return to oven until chocolate is shiny and soft, 3 minutes.
