Puppy Chow

Ingredients

• 2 cups rice chex
• 1/4 cup chocolate chips
• 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1/3 cup powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 place the chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter into a liquid measuring cup and microwave for one minute.
• 2 carefully take the measuring cup out of the microwave, stir and put the measuring cup back into the microwave and cook for 30 more seconds if needed to blend evenly.
• 3 pour the cereal into a large bowl and pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal.
• 4 with a wooden spoon, stir in the chocolate mixture with the cereal until evenly coated.
• 5 pour the cereal into a plastic bag and sprinkle the powdered sugar on top.
• 6 shake the bag until the powdered sugar has coated the cereal
• 7 pour onto a sheet of waxed paper and cool.
