Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

• Servings: 6
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup oleo
• 1/2 cup nuts
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup cornstarch
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 (3 ounce) box strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
• 1 quart fresh strawberries

Recipe

• 1 crust: mix first four ingredients well. press into a 9x13 pan. bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until light brown.
• 2 filling: mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, cornstartch, salt and water in a saucepan. stir and bring to a boil until mixture is and clear. then add strawberry jello into hot mixture. let cool. add fresh strawberries, pour into deep dish. refrigerate until set.
• 3 serve with whipped cream.
