Slow Cooker Peanut Butter Loaf

Total Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup chopped salted peanuts

Recipe

  • 1 in large bowl, pour hot water over peanut butter.
  • 2 stir in milk, sugar, salt, egg, flour and baking powder.
  • 3 mix well.
  • 4 add peanuts.
  • 5 grease 5 or 6 cup mold.
  • 6 spoon bread mixture into mold.
  • 7 cover with foil and tie.
  • 8 place mold on rack in slow cooker.
  • 9 pour 2 cups hot water around mold.
  • 10 cover pot and cook on high for 2-3 hrs, or until done.
  • 11 remove from pot.
  • 12 let bread stand to mold for 10 min.
  • 13 ;turn out on cooling rack.
  • 14 serve warm or cool; spread with butter, marmalade, or jam.
