Roast Lamb Loin With Brown Sugar Glaze

Total Time: 2 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 -2 1/2 lbs lamb loin roast
  • 1/4 cup mccormick's montreal brand steak seasoning, by mccormick
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground mace
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar

Recipe

  • 1 season lamb lion with montreal steak seasoning and sugar let sit for a few hours.
  • 2 preheat oven to 325.
  • 3 mix together all glaze ingredients.
  • 4 roast 30 to 40 minutes per pound about an hour and 1/2 for 2 to 2 1/2 lbs roast.
  • 5 place seasoned lamb loin in a roasting pan on a rack insert meat thermometer into the center of the roast. cook the roast till the thermometer reads 160 degrees. during the the last 45 minuets brush the brown sugar gaze on the lamb several times.
