Oven-fried Oysters

- 1 pint oyster
- 1/2 cup margarine (butter will burn)
- 3/4 cup baking mix
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425 degrees. drain oysters and pat dry. melt margarine in a baking pan large enough to hold the oysters in one layer.
- 2 combine dry ingredients on a plate or waxed paper. dip oysters into eggs then roll in dry ingredients. arrange in margarine in the baking pan, turning to coat well. oven-fry for 15 minutes or until cooked through.
