Shandi's Beer Burgers

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 2 cups cups beer
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 onions
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon all purpose greek seasoning
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 potato buns
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 slices lettuce
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 3 tablespoons horseradish sauce

Recipe

  • 1 for the patties.
  • 2 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 3 mix together hamburger, 1 cup beer, onion to taste, garlic, greek seasoning, salt, pepper.
  • 4 shape into patties.
  • 5 pat with bread crumbs to keep patties together during cooking process.
  • 6 put in oven for 10 minute.
  • 7 open oven, flip patties brush with 1/2 of the remaining beer.
  • 8 bake for another 10 min.
  • 9 flip patties back over and brush with remaining beer, bake for 5 more minute.
  • 10 for the toppings.
  • 11 slice second onion thinly. caramelize in skillet with butter, brown sugar and second cup of beer.
  • 12 top with onions, mustard, horseradish and lettuce.
